PROGRAMS
Workshop
ORIENTED FOR RUSSIAN ARTISTS. PROGRAM'S LENGTH – 5 MONTHS
  • The artist are provided with a workspace in the Studios;
  • Educational program and individual consultations with the mentor, master classes in English;
  • An opportunity to conduct an author's artist talk or a workshop;
  • Participation in the evenings of the vernissages;
  • Possibility to independently conduct a special event (group exhibition, finisage or presentation) at the end of the program;
  • An opportunity to take part in the overseas residence (contest based).

The main conditions for participation in the "Workshop" program:
  • Age of participants from 18;
  • Permanent place of living is Russia;
  • Applications should be made via the Open call.
Pop-up
Oriented for Russian artists. Program's length – 5 months
  • Educational program and individual consultations with the mentor, master classes in English;
  • An opportunity to conduct an author's artist talk or a workshop;
  • An opportunity of creating and running your own pop-up project in a special zone of Studios;
  • An opportunity to take part in the overseas residence (contest based).

The main conditions for participation in the "Pop-up" program:
  • Age of participants from 18;
  • Permanent place of living is Russia;
  • Applications should be made via the Open call.
Open Studios +
Oriented for Russian artists working with performances, video, installations and other media. Program's length – 5 months
  • The artists are provided with a workspace in the Studios for a period of 2 to 5 months;
  • An educational program and individual consultations with a consultations with a mentor, master classes in English;
  • An opportunity to conduct an author's artist talk or a master class;
  • The ability to independently create / conduct a creative project in a special area of the Studios;
  • An opportunity to take part in the overseas residence (contest based).

The main conditions for participation in the "Open Studios+" program:
  • The age of the participant is from 18;
  • Permanent place of living is Russia;
  • Applications should be made via the Open call.
Residence
Oriented for one international artist (excluding attendants). Program's length – 2 months
  • The artists are provided with a work space and helped with an organization of accommodation;
  • An opportunity to hold a presentation of a project created in the Studios at the end of the program or public talk;
  • An introductory lecture and excursions on "Contemporary Russian art".

The main conditions for participation in the "Residence" program:
  • Age from 21;
  • Permanent place of living can be anywhere apart from Russia;
  • Cost of participation: free on the condition of an exchange between residencies of the partners and refundable for those who take part as an individual.
TERMS
AND CONDITIONS *
All participants during the period of the season are given next opportunities:
  • free visits to the events organized by the Winzavod Foundation for the Support of Contemporary Art on the territory of the Winzavod CCA;
  • inviting guests to the Open Studios;
  • receiving newsletters about the open call of the Fund's partner institutions.
Participants must:
  • regularly visit the Studios and work on their projects;
  • attend an educational program and complete mentor assignments;
  • maintain cleanliness and order in the workplace;
  • take part in project activities;
  • indicate in interviews, comments and other public representations that you are a resident of the Winzavod Open Studios;
  • provide the organizers with at least one work (artwork) created in the Open Studios for its inclusion in the exhibits of the reporting exhibition;
  • donate one of the works created in the space of the Open Studios to the art collection of the organizers no later than the end date of the project.
The organizer has a right:
  • organize and conduct photo and video filming of project participants, as well as PR campaign events with their participation;
  • complete cooperation with a project participant in case of non-compliance or bad faith compliance with the rules.
* Not a public offer. The full set of terms and conditions of the project is given for the reference to successful candidates which were selected by the project's examination board.
